I'm taking notes. I have had to do some creative construction on old houses that I converted to rentals. Having a dishwasher is another $100 a month. People need to learn to plan their meals accordingly ... that's all.
You have to wonder what was going thru the mind of the person remodeling.
Did they put those lower cabinets in knowing it would happen because they had no other choice, or did they put it all together then realized it was fucked, and just walked away and left it.

Yes I added one of those to my remodel plan and also added drawers for pots as you see to the right of the Lazy Susan...
It just goes to show that it’s good to have a layout of what is white in the kitchen. All of that could’ve been solved on a piece of paper.

If you bought a dishwasher that had a recessed handle instead of the one that hangs out the layout works.
They bought the wrong dishwasher. People do this all the time with refrigerators putting in regular size fridges where counter depth was designed.
Limited space means limited options.
