Tennessee Announces They Have Wrapped Up Investigation Into Violations Involving Jeremy Pruitt, No Self-Imposed Bowl Ban

The University of Tennessee and its lawyers have wrapped up their investigation into the violations that occurred under In the interest of protecting the rights of innocent student-athletes, the university will not impose a postseason bowl ban.

"The University of Tennessee and its lawyers have wrapped up their investigation into the violations that occurred under the previous football staff. According to multiple sources, this investigation was concluded in the recent weeks and that the school decided that it wasn’t fair to punish the current players with a “bowl ban.” This was first reported by VolQuest."


I think we can all sleep soundly that the University of Tennessee feels that their transgressions warranted firing a head coach but should not include a bowl ban. It is also being reported that Gary Ridgway the convicted serial called nicknamed the "Green River Killer" has also done an internal investigation and determined that his sentence has been complete and that he should be released immediately.

The administration at UT is a clown show. They make a huge deal about infractions fire Pruitt, then they do an investigation and basically impose no penalties. If that doesn’t define wanting your cake and eating it too I don’t what does.

1. We aren’t stupid enough to hold a press conference and admit we did shit when no one is looking. No matter what the circumstances.

2. When we do get caught we only admit to what we absolutely have to and impose post seasons bans on shitty teams to preserve scholarships.

3. If we fire a coach we pay his ass to shut the fuck up and go away.

Tennessee literally has done the exact opposite of what is the smart way to handle this kind of shit.

There is a 99% chance the NCAA does nothing and you know it. Tennessee came clean and didn't play the lawyer game. Open honesty wins the day. You are just whining because you know nothing is coming of it.

You try to cover shit up and act like All-Barn or your big brother and Tuscaloosa and try all kinds of shenanigan's and the NCAA comes down hard on you like it did to both All-Barn and the Tuscalooser school in the 1990s.

Wasn't really worried about a bowl ban THIS year anyway so as long as recruiting isn't affected (and looks like it won't be) then this is fantastic news.

Tennessee fact checkers found Tennessee did not violate any rules to validate a post season ban. Fact checkers checked this and said it was correct.

UT has learned a lesson from Okie State basketball about “helping” the NCAA investigate things.
