The Thread of Tues

took a look at their prices...man $20 for a 4-pack just isn't my jam.
Understandable... but they're so delicious. My favorite brewery on this earth, in fact. I've been buying expensive beer more and more in the 'rona era. There's a lot of money I would have normally spent going out that I have not been spending this year so I think it's ok (this is how I rationalize it in my head)

innnnnteresting. I am gonna get me some of these.

Thanks, Slink
You'll still need to throw them on well ahead of the steaks, but the nails do help.

Do you eat the skin? I do. I rub them with olive oil and then sprinkle finishing salt on them before baking or grilling. It's really good on the grill.

my liquor store has been stocking more and more expensive 4-packs these days. I just walk away from them.

If you think OH has expensive beer, check out Equilibrium

I don't even know if the third dude will hike

I like to do activities other than drinking when it comes to a trip. The one dude and I have done fly fishing classes and I want to go up there and fish.
other activities outside of drinking. so far the agenda i'm seeing is:
1. Drink
2. Brewery Tour (and drink)
3. Fly fish (and drink)
4. Hike (and drink), speaking of, why not get paid for it? Get Paid $20K to Drink Beer & Hike the Appalachian Trail | The Manual.

morning

grilled a ribeye last night. It was delicious.
What seasonings did you use, anything special.

I've decided Montreal isn't my bag, after trying it multiple times. Son has put together a spicy mix that is starting to grow on me.

Salt, pepper, a little garlic salt/powder is always a safe go-to for me.

morning all

Working this AM. It was rainy most of day yesterday, still an upgrade to weather in MN. Took murray to beach and let him run and chase birds. Advantage of being a hardy MN, willing to go out during crappy weather on beach.

had some seafood last night, got some hush puppies on the side. I was expecting small amount, good about 4,000 calories worth of Hush puppies.

grilling burgers tonight.
