I just started watching this and I like it quite a bit. I watched every episode of the original numerous times and I like how the new one is using elements from past episodes. I'm only 1/2 way though the 1st season, but plan on binging this like a fiend for the next couple nights.

I think I stopped after the Trump episode. This show had 2 of the absolute worst episodes of a show I believe I have ever seen on “tv” (the Trump episode and the groundhog-day camera episode). The Alaska police station episode was OK, but not nearly good enough to save the series.

I don't think I've seen a Trump episode. The camera one I thought was pretty good. My favorite one so far is the airplane one.

Oh wait, are you talking about the one where the kid is elected president? That's actually the last one I watched. Trump didn't even enter my mind while watching it. lol

I think I saw the first one for free on youtube or something. The dude from Silicon Valley was a comedian. It was okay.

Definitely better than every episode of Black Mirror I attempted to get through. It at least felt like the writers knew what they were doing. The people writing Black Mirror just felt like they had a bunch of failed comedy bits that they turned into really shitty "intellectual" dystopian sci-fi.

"Hey guys, what if a politician got blackmailed into fucking a pig?"

"Hey guys, what if we do an unfunny version of the Meow-Meow Beans episode of Community?"

"Hey guys what if some chick killed somebody and then got caught because a hamster saw her do it?"

"Hey, what if two bros were playing a video game online and then they actually just started fucking each other in the video game?"

It's like, they SHOULD be funny. But they're not. They're just bad.

Anyway that's my tight 5 on Black Mirror. I'm going to go drink a few more White Claws.
