Yep. Nowadays defenses aren't going to shut down decent offenses. In this era a good defense is going to get stops at critical times.

There have always been a lot of teams that claim great defenses when in fact, they actually played defense with a ball control offense.

The offense not being able to stay on the field put the defense in a real bad spot, but that just goes back to the whole, you need to be able to score if you're gonna beat good teams deal. Like when we scored that TD in the third to make it a 13 point game, and then Florida missed a FG, I would have had a bit of hope if we had a good offense, but I knew it didn't matter.
