@AlaskaGuy and @Geneh are jealous, but for… other reasons.
 
The team my kid started on is in this territory (they are older 4/5 kids). Top 10 nationally ranked. Play in tournaments all over America. They just won a 20 team tournament this past weekend that included 14 other nationally ranked teams. My kid will be subbing on the team next year now that he’s 8U.

They treat league play like practice/scrimmage games and mercy otter teams easily and usually by halftime.

Obviously rec league parents flip out seeing their kids get crushed but do nothing about it on their end.

They obviously watch lots of film regardless. Some of these are kids are players you’ll see in D1 one day.
 
Taylor also is a coach and a father. His team lost to the Rebels 33-0 this season.

This is the problem. Everybody thinks their kid is good. Until they run into a team who is actually good. If your team can’t get a first down, they’re not good and you’re not a good coach.

Wait a second. There are national ratings for peewee flag football teams? ESPN+ needs content. Maybe you can have a televised playoff.

So you switched leagues because of covid last year to a neighboring rec league but didn't switch back this year? Did your normal league not resume this year?
