There are no good teams this year…

Could it be that one of the unbeatens like Tennessee or Ole Miss comes out on top?
I am not sold on Ole Miss. They seem to be opportunistic and squeak out wins, rather than playing with authority from start to finish. Opportunity comes sometimes, but not always, and unless you seize that opportunity when it comes and capitalize on it, you wont be winning on that day. Ole Miss has a loss or two on its schedule.

Tennessee looks legit in my opinion. I see them giving Bama fits. I see then giving Georgia fits. They are a fly in the ointment at this point.

Tennessee doesn't have the defense or depth to come out on top. Trust me. We are ahead of schedule. Now give us 2-3 years of recruiting the way we are and we will have those players. We need help to beat Alabama and Georgia.

Note: Alabama, Florida, and Georgia rarely have bad games against Tennessee. If you had to pick 1 of the 3 that has the most letdowns, it is Georgia.

Until Alabama or Georgia actually lose a game, they are still the royalty in the SEC.

First weekend in October and OP is giving up on the season.

Sure you aren't an Aggie?
We lost to ttu and still have to play powerhouse, Kansas. It’s just reality.

In all honesty, I feel there are "good" teams, just not great, great teams this season. Yes, Georgia and Alabama and Ohio State look to have the advantage so far. I have to wonder if Utah would have played Florida a little later, would the Utes have won? If Georgia would have played Oregon a little later, would Oregon have had at least a better showing? You get the idea. I wonder if the CFP will have an undefeated team in it this season. If so, will any team end the entire season (after bowls) undefeated. Maybe the scare Mizzou gave Georgia is what they needed. I am wondering if Oregon keeps playing this way if they end up in the CFP with Georgia who they already played. Even if the SEC and B1G are the two best conferences, I think the PAC 12 and ACC teams knock each other out of contention for a CFP spot. Gonna be interesting.
