There are no good teams this year…

Michigan is smoke and mirrors. I say this as a Michigan fan. Our defense is going to get lit up by a legit offense. Our offense has a chance to be really good, but only if we are fully healthy. We don't have the depth of the big time teams, so if we have starters out -- it changes how they play.

If Corum ever gets hurt -- I think we will end up going to an air raid type offense, as I don't think they have faith in any RB to receive a lot of carries. We were giving a freshman a lot of carries, but he fumbled and haven't seen much of him since.

I think UM has a legit chance to be undefeated going into the OSU game, not because they are legit, but because the B1G isn't very good this year, IMO. Then again -- every team seems to have issues. I don't see any real dominate team thus far.
Texas whips everyone in the BiG.. not even close

Michigan played those dominant Maryland teams that beat Texas in, I believe 2016 and 2017. We barely scraped by them, beating them 59-3 and 35-10 in those years.:beer2:

lol you homos haven't played anyone BUT MD.. Quinn slices you up and your so called deep DL gets manhandled by a young ass UT OL.. Sure we lost to MD twice.. but Tom isn't walking through that door nor is Zeus ready to call in a 2 hour rain delay in the middle of the game again.

You can't beat us, never could..

Was on a long hike without my phone. Anything happen this afternoon? 🍿

My updated rankings after today!

I've seen 5 FBS teams in person so far this year, and I would rank them in this order:

01. Purdue (won @ Minnesota)
02. Baylor (won @ Iowa State)
03. Iowa State (Beat Ohio Univ. and lost to Baylor)
04. Minnesota (lost to Purdue)
05. Ohio University (lost @ Iowa State)

UNC is a really odd/weird team. I’ve noticed they have an uncanny ability to win close games. They’re basically Nebby, in reverse.

But a blowout loss to ND? At home? Perplexing.

Yeah a big shout out to the assistant defensive coordinator. You will know who he is. Look him up. They have given up a crapload of points this season. Some games are like basketball scores (looking at you App State).

Yesterday, I watched the Davidson Wildcats rock the winless Drake Bulldogs 48-14. Actually, it was 35-14 when I left to beat the traffic like a good "Des Moinesgelino", but I digress.

My Updated "There are no good teams this year..." Rankings:

FCS:

01. Southeast Missouri Redhawks (6-1)
01. Davidson Wildcats (6-2)
03. Drake Bulldogs (0-8)

FBS:

01. Ohio University Bobcats (5-3)
02. Purdue Boilermakers (5-3)
03. Baylor Bears (4-3)
04. Minnesota Golden Gophers (4-3)
05. Iowa State Cyclones (3-4)

This week, I plan on going (weather permitting) to the NR Oklahoma Sooners (4-3) @ 05. Iowa State Cyclones (3-4) in "There are no good teams this year..." Action!

Viva "Mediocre" College Football!
