Thirsty National Beer Day Thursday

my dilemma too, i only put about 5k/a year on the car, probably closer to 4k

our SUV we put a tad more, but that is because we took it on two long road trips the past 2 years. I think we hit 30K and it's 2018

on the other hand, I don't have kids and and most other aspects of my life live rather modestly, I always feel I can splurge somewhere
That’s where I am now. I have transitioned to working from home, so I put very little mileage on my car. I don’t think I’ll “need” a new car for quite some time.

Never been a Mustang guy. Just not my thing at all.

I had an 89 Camaro, an 88 Shelby Daytona Z, an 89 Probe GT Turbo too. Toyota 4x4. Jeep Wrangler…for some reason I liked that Mustang most.

I’ve always been more attracted to European sports cars. Probably because there are so many Mustangs on the road, they just seemed too common. My dream car was always a Porsche 911, but with as little as I drive anymore, I can’t see that ever becoming a reality. It just doesn’t make any sense to spend that kind of money on a car I only use to drop off my daughter at school.

New work laptop comes in today. Hopefully the battery on this one lasts more than a minute when it's unplugged.

Our dog passed away this morning. It was no surprise, as he's old and been going downhill for the last month. Spent over $400 at the vet last week on tests that told me pretty much what I already knew.

Knowing that it was coming didn't help much. :sigh:

Remember the Conquest? Remember thinking the interior was like a jet. My buddy wrecked his racing my other buddy (Mustang). Hit a priest (!!!) trying to pass the Mustang.

You should do it.
I just can’t make it make sense. My wife’s cousin just bought one and my wife said I should pull the trigger on it as well (mostly a keeping up with the Joneses thing), but I can’t justify spending that kind of money on a car I’ll likely drive less than 1,500 miles a year.

Yikes. That’s gotta hurt his chances in the afterlife.

I could write a book on this guy and the things that prob keep him out of Heaven (at least temporarily). Guy was a genius in HS. Tapped into the phone lines of his neighbors. Cut the brakes on his dad’s car. Ran his whole family out of the house - as in he lived in a giant colonial alone - in HS. We used to shoot fireworks off of his roof. After being abandoned by his family he went to UCLA to study astro-physics. Last I heard he’s working on space program shit for the military. Fell out of touch after graduation.

It is what it is. Finance people tend to be more frugal because we live it. But we deserve to be spoiled too. You know what I mean. You buy a 911 you ain’t buying it to day drive anyways.

Pic is off Wiki but a friend of mine own a '69 Boss 302 in this paint scheme back in the 70s. By far, my favorite Mustang

I like that paint job.

Brought a M6 Grand Coupe home last night.

If you don‘t like a stiff suspension, an M series isn‘t for you. My M4 rides like a Conestoga wagon. Just a really fast one.

I’ve got an alpina b7. The 7 series only recently came out with an M series. Before it did, Alpina was the equivalent of that. I don’t know about the suspension on the M7 but the Alpina is extremely luxurious while also being extremely fast.

Good luck with the car @RobBase (c) . Enjoy!
