Thirsty Thursday

going on an Amazon shopping spree for my Tacoma. this is a bad rabbit hole.
I just bought golf shoes from there. Skechers leaked terribly yesterday.

Trying New Balance.

I want to get the step bars for my Frontier.
I get bitched at constantly about not having them. But I mostly just don't like the way they look

I'm the other way... I'm tall enough to never need them for a truck as short as my Frontier, but I like the way they look. And they'll be functional for my kid.

Generally speaking, I kind of agree, but I have these on my truck and I think they look badass.

ok bought new LED license plate lights, LED reverse and internal lights, a now shorty antennae, internal filter, UNI secondary breather filter, and new knobs for the climate control...might as well spruce up something while I'm at it.

I do need a new short antenna, and I'd like a backup camera.

I like my backup camera...the screen is in my rearview mirror, which I really like.

That's how my old one was in my Sorento, and I really liked that too. It's always odd looking at the multicam view on my Murano along with all 3 mirrors. It's like information overload. Then it fucking beeps for no reason to alert me about an obstacle that isn't anywhere near me.

Mine light blinds me at night when I'm trying to parallel park. I'm sure there's a setting I can change, but I'm lazy

exactly... another reason why I'm torn on getting a new car that has some giant screen(s) in the dash.

mine isn't that sophisticated...no alerts.

The murano one has the 360 view that uses all the cameras to stitch together a birds eye view of the car and it's surroundings.

I'm a nerd, but that is just fucking overkill.

the cars today that do everything for you are just too much for me. I would turn off all the alerts and sensors in the Outback. I don't need that.

alright alright alright

scheduled a tire rotation and power steering fluid flush for next week with my usual mechanic. Also have them look at the wheel bearings on my front passenger wheel and see what's up there
