Thirsty Thursday

It is rare that i ever have the need, but it is pretty simple (provided there is enough froom for the vehicle you are driving)
I definitely know (or at least knew) how to do it. I used to have an Explorer that would do it for you, but I never used it because I don’t trust Ford that much.

When i was younger i had friends that lived in an older part of Lincoln that didnt have drive ways so it was all street parking so you had to parallel park there, but im not even sure it is a driving test requirement anymore.

I didn't have to parallel park when I got my license 18 years ago.

I honestly cant remember if i had to or not, i know i learned in drivers ed, but i was also on the cutoff for a lot of stuff when they changed laws about how you get your license and such, If i had a gun to my head id say i didnt have to do it on the test 22 years ago.... but im honestly just guessing at this point

Kobe knows my name and I know hers.

I had to for mine, but I've maybe had to legit parallel twice since?
Parallel park every day. I was really good in my old car, ok with my new one. Not as good with my rental

Also, the insurance company had paid more money on my rental than the actual repairs to my car

do you really not know how to parallel park?
if you live in a city, yeah.

One of apartments I lived in, you pretty much had to learn to PP in a spot about 2 inches longer than your car or walk several blocks

I can still PP, but I'm not as good/efficient at it as I used too be as I don't need to as often

I worked in a warehouse in HS for my moms company and drove a forklift, i became really efficient at driving in reverse so it is my preferred method and i think i still got it (honestly dont know i havent had to in a long time)

Our business school puts on a seminar for local business on negotiations.

The company paying for the workshop negotiated a lower price.

Maybe they should be the ones giving us the seminar
