This is... a really long way to go for a joke, if that's what it is. Also, these places are clearly condemned buildings he films in. If you're going to slather yourself in piss, poop, animal carcasses or hobo orgies, don't fake it.

I don't think it's a "joke". Apparently, some other notable tik-toker went and visited this dude and did an interview/tour and said it was all very real. Of course, there's no way to know with 100% certainty, but I definitely dry-heaved quite a few times.

It's fake. His sink has no faucet. His toilet has no water in the bowl. Even squatters and junkies live in less ancient trash too.

While I would really hope you're right, I'm not so certain a faucetless sink constitutes this all being fake. But, it wouldnt surprise me, people are willing to do some ridiculous garbage on these platforms for clicks.
