All 5 of the current or past UGA coaches since 1964 all live in Athens. They got together yesterday with the #UGA athletic association's Bryant Gantt.

Three, unfortunately, are not in good health with Dooley just being old, Goff having some dementia issues (reportedly), and Richt has Parkinson's (has a hard time walking).

Uh, that would be 2? Dooley and Smart, or did your insistence that Smart be fired warp your brain that you don't acknowledge him?

That said,

- Goff was not a good coach, way over his head. But, he is a great guy who had some tough times after he was fired but has recovered nicely. He and his girlfriend/new wife own about 40 Saxby's franchises. I hope the dementia info is wrong. I watched a game with him in his suite 3 years ago and it was great to talk ball with him.

- Richt is one hell of a human being. Talk about grace facing down a terrible disease.

- Donan is awesome. He is a member of UGASports.com, the Rivals network. He provides all sorts of great content.

Dooley coached his team to a natty. Kirby won with players, not scheme. Players get all the credit for 2021.

Richt, Donnan and Goff need to GTFO though. Only care about on field results.

I forgot he was an OU coach. He does a YouTube game day watch program where he and 2 others watch the UGA game and provide commentary on it. From time to time one of the other guys will say something like, "Coach is distracted watching the OU game, he'll be right back." He's still a big OU fan.

I always thought he should have been named Head Coach instead of Gary Gibbs.
