I rarely post things from the pay sites I inhabit, but thought this was really intersesting:

Speaking of Sam Pittman, Kirby loves that guy. Pittman fixed the awful O-line recruiting that had held Georgia back for years. He loves Dan Lanning, too. Lanning helped him win a title and landed a ton of five-star recruits. Smart loves and respects Samford head coach Chris Hatcher, who gave Smart his first coaching job.

When he faced each of those friends across the field, he won by a combined score of 119-3.

Smart doesn’t love Shane Beamer. And not just because Beamer didn’t land one recruit while he was in Athens, although in Smart’s world that would be enough to be excommunicated. No, they don’t see eye to eye. So I don’t expect Smart to call off the Dawgs as he did in the second half of last week’s game.

You gamblers might take this into account.

I am not sure which part I liked the most ... the fact that Smart beat his past assistants/mentor 119-3, or what he may do to Beamer this weekend. It's interesting ... I actually find Beamer to be a pretty good guy from what I can see. Have to wonder what he did to get run out of Athens and earn the wrath of Kirby.

No mercy given. none expected....

Is that writer implying Smart called off the dogs in the 49 - 3 thrashing of the ducks?

If so, then Oregon is worse than thought.
We had our starters out with a couple minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. Last TD drive led by QB2.

Cobra Kia never dies…no mercy.

This makes so much more sense in war and sports. There's no confusion. You don't ask for permission to go on the offensive nor do you resent being soundly defeated. Those are the only terms to operate on.
