The official 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nominees have been announced. Let's find out which musical acts on this list HooplaNation would induct into the Hall.

This vote isn't about who you think will be inducted, it's who you would vote for if you had three votes to cast.

Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Phish

I like Bad Company and the Black Crowes but they are not worthy

Chubby Checker should maybe have already been voted in

If Paul Rogers is singing, I'm in.
You like Free also? They put out some good stuff, but also not hall worthy, IMO

Fucking Oasis?? :L

Mariah fuckin Carrey?? :L:L:L

Jesus the RnRHOF is such a joke.
It's a museum (in Cleveland!), hoping idiots want to drop $40 to see Ke$ha's rhinestone thong or a phone shaped like the Rolling Stones' tongue. By declaring something as the "Hall of Fame", it gets an annual advertisement. Like half the inductees arguably aren't related to RnR and the list of snubs, particularly classic rock or blues, is enormous.

Isn’t Oasis like a one hit wonder and that one hit might have been the most annoying song of the decade?

Agreed.

They just need to change it to the American Music HOF or something similar. If it's a rock hall, then it would logically mean rock artists. I can even get behind R&B because without that we would not have rock so maybe a legacy nomination or contributor category?

Mariah Carrey on principal sucks ass and only women and fags like her music. Start a rap or hip hop HOF if they think it's important.

in summation, the ROCK HOF is a joke

Respectfully submitted,
Peoples Chicken, esq.

Maybe the most overrated band of that last 30 years IMO. My theory is their status is really more about "what could have been" than what they actually were. Plus you can't understand a fucking thing they say when they talk

Alls I know is I’d rather listen to the Macarina on a loop than hear Wonderwall once

The Rock hall is about 45 mins from me. And I have been there a grand total of 2 times. One was a school field trip and the second was taking my kids there. I have zero interest in spending the overpriced amount for a ticket and returning

Yep and I would also put them in.

It seems to me not being Hall worthy is a prerequisite lately.
Fair point. I loves me some Dolly, but no way she should be in there. At least she went out and recorded a rock album after the fact

Really? No on Bad Company?

No wonder you're moving on, moving on from town to town
Moving on baby never see the dirt in the ground

I understand Hank Williams and Jimmie Rodgers being in as early influences. Rock was already a thing a when Willie and Dolly came around though. Tom Petty isn’t in the country HOF despite him having influence in the genre
