Actual truth:

I made a deal with a corporation who would pay for the server for our site along with renewing the domain name and the costs for that in exchange for them placing ads and getting the revenue. They also agreed to keep thepartisanpatriot going as part of the deal.


Therefore I wouldn't have to keep financing the site and sully's harebrained ideas.

We got an upfront payment that I negotiated in this deal that got most of my sunk costs back.

I then did away with paid subscriptions. I didn't know that sully had routed Kobe's paid subscription to his own paypal account so it kept going for quite a while. I think she's the only one who got fucked on the deal since I was able to remove everyone else. I also thought she was removed.

A few years later I woke up to a blank page on sports boards because the corporation had sold our deal to another outfit and the new outfit didn't renew our domain name, and the site went away along with my thepartisanpatriot site.

It is crazy to me that you would put your integrity in the shitter for about a 100 bucks a year. Even if you grifted for a grand that first year it isn't worth it. So basically once you've gone that route you gotta disappear for good or start a new SN and pretend you aren't you.
