Movie Thunderbolts* (2025)

Marvel just announced Thunderbolts at SDCC 2022.

The Thunderbolts are Marvel's equivalent of DC's Suicide Squad / Task Force X: a team of supervillains trying to find redemption or early release.

The film will be released on ~~Friday, July 26, 2024~~ ~~Friday, December 20, 2024~~ Friday, May 2, 2025, following Captain America 4: New World Order and preceding ~~Fantastic Four~~ ~~Blade~~ Fantastic Four.

Kevin Feige announces the official title is now Thunderbolts*, with an asterisk. He won't explain the meaning of the asterisk, but online fan speculation is that the film is really Dark Avengers. The release date of May 5, 2025 in the logo below may be an error, as that is a Monday, which is usually not used as a release date.
