Golf league is done. We ended the end of season 9-hole best ball* with a score of -2, which was good for 3rd place. Just missed on a couple birdie putts...but the winning team came in at -8, so we were no where close to sniffing first place.

Different. Best ball is best score on the hole. Scramble is taking the best ball on each shot. (I know, it sounds backward)

It is.

I assumed Ill was playing a scramble, since that's how most of these league things go. But, we played a best ball for our end of year tourny, so it's possible.

Another name for it. I always have the final decision on what shot to take and it's not always easy. Sometimes guys get their feelers hurt when their ball doesn't get picked.

my co-worker drives me nuts sometimes

how do we know they're not stealing from us, we're not controlling revenue, etc


Yes, there is risk of fraud and theft, that doesn't mean they can't hire a third party to manage a conference if we don't have in-house talent to do so

it was a scramble, which is a type of best ball tournament.

and yea, we weren't great.
