Thursday busted capillary day

I think the strawing deal is kind of silly. I always thought you strawed grass seed to help hold in the moisture. The sun isn't really blaring down this time of year.
I think that's part of the idea. Plus it also helps reduce erosion and wind blowing the seed around. A lot of landscapers don't even bother with the straw anymore and just hydroseed

I do have some root veggies to do that with. But those generally last longer. Got some cauliflower, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers that need to be used quicker than that. Thinking a cauliflower/broccoli/cheese side dish to use some of them up.
All those veggies in a stew also work. I make a minestrone that gets every veg in the house. Just be sure to have enough celery and it always works out.

Again, I don't want it to look good. I am not putting my lawn in till next spring. The ground hasn't settled, its not fine graded. This is a fuckstick sitting in an office that has no idea about practicality. Fuck banks
When are you putting in the lawn?

Was doing a job at a new prison boiler house and a company was seeding and strawing the excavated areas. They've got this machine blowing straw out all over the place.
Prison guard assigned to us says "I've always been amazed that they throw that straw out and it makes grass, I'd think that wheat would grow instead"

Depending on how our spring weather goes, late April at the earliest. But given the past few winters that feels overly optimistic. We have had measurable snow in May the last few years.

Save all the celery for bloody marys.

Any gob sightings? If not, has anyone checked for missing persons reports from his hometown?
Haven't seen any necklace fire murder reports on the news.
