I guess maybe once it became common knowledge enough, he just put it out there, so to speak. IIRC, on the old site, it was just to the ladies he sort of took a shine to, or played along with his act.

I don't think @kobesgame ever got any sonnets.

Not only did I get sonnets, I still currently get occasional FB messages from him.

There's no way gobucks said "she's out of my league". He's a good dude both on the board and in the short time I hung with him...but at least from my POV he's not lacking for confidence to say something like that. But I'd say I could see him not being comfortable with being the center of attention like this and just wanting it to blow over.

To go for the perma ban is definitely her doing. Hopefully it works out for him but I'm definitely concerned.

Hope he finds his way back and takes all this in stride with a group of folks who want to see him do well
 
Just found out a colleague is going through a tragedy. Colleague's partner/girlfriend was murdered last night, along with her ex-husband, and son....by her oldest son. That's some fucked up shit.

Found an article on it. Nice to see some respectful news withholding the identities of the victims for a bit so that the info passes between family and friends rather than on the internet. Very sad
