we have the myxfitness bike, few hundred cheaper than peleton, doesn't have live classes, but it's pretty good

It uses friction resistance instead of magnetic, as I've never used magnetic friction seems fine to me, but it's apparently not as good

I'm looking to downsize. I have the big three burner, but it's just me and wifezilla 99% percent of the time.
Trying to decide what I want to do next. I have a cheapo barrel smoker that doubles as my grill. Going to at least upgrade the smoker, then I need to figure out if I want to just keep the barrel grill or downsize that to a Weber.

no beer for me last night or other drinks.

I drink less in winter, I'm more inclined to have a beer on the patio. Summer I need to manage myself, it's not the alcoholism that worries me,it's the weight gain

Anyone still hung over from last night. I know we have some serious drinkers on this board

@DJ spotted out last night?
I rarely get hang overs.

I did a couple shots of Jamison Black Barrel Irish Whiskey for the occasion and then switched to my usual bourbon for the rest of the night.

Played Blarney Stone on my guitar. Banged Mrs Redfoot.

What a coincidence...

Our cardio shit is magnetic. It's fine.

Only had a couple beers and a shot of Jameson's. Even in my reduced state, not nearly enough to put me down.

Heading out to my sons house to pick up my smoker and move it to our new place.

Then I need to buy a new grill. I'm open for suggestions.
I've got a Weber Summit 670 and I was a bit skeptical at first but the thing is fucking awesome. I've had some high end grills, DCS, etc, and I like this one the best.

If you don't want to go that big, they have smaller options, but based on my experience with this grill and their customer service, I'm a pretty big fan of Weber.

Ambulance # 5 drive by for the day so far

I have a modified Smoke Hollow 44" propane smoker. It's friggin' yuge. I did what is called a "mailbox" mod, allowing me to use pellets instead of wood chips.
It looks wonky. But now, instead of adding chips every hour, I can do an 18 hour smoke with steady smoke throughout.

I need to make more diet changes, my weight loss has stunted, havent' gained any back, but can't get below 180
I'm the opposite. I've lost nearly five pounds over the last couple weeks. I'll be returning to the gym in a couple weeks though, so hopefully I'll be able to hang some more muscles on this frame.

I have an offset Char-Griller right now. Can use coal or wood for it, normally have to add coals a couple times through the smoke. Temperature control in the chamber is an issue, and there's a fair amount of heat loss. Would like to go vertical with the smoker at least, there are some decent ones around $300 that I'm eyeing up.

Then, it becomes a question of what I want to do with the actual grill. I don't mind having a giant grill, because we have had a few parties where I've filled the grill up, but most of the time, for some burgers and hot dogs, it's a shade overkill.

Couldn't you just portion off part of it when you don't need a full grill?

Indoor Grill Electric Grill Griddle CUSIMAX Smokeless Grill, Portable Korean BBQ Grill with Turbo Smoke Extractor Technology

anyone have this? I am looking at it on Amazon. Looks decent. As I don't have a grill as I live in an apartment with very sensitive smoke detectors.

Just do what the cigarette smokers in your place do and remove the batteries, then buy a Big Green Egg.

came into the office today to sign off on some procedures. Done and all good.

Saw they were getting lunch for everyone today, so decided to stick around. Ordered an Italian from Firehouse.

well Firehouse can't meet our order today, so just got an email saying "lunch not coming"

well dammit...guess I can go home now.
