There was a period after HS graduation where there were multiple parties every day for a week and I was sober for very little of it.

week after HS? shit the following two summers I worked in facilities from 800 to 1630 and then washed dished from 1700-2000 (pregamed during the dishwashing portion of the day) and then drank until around 0200, wash, rinse repeat.

I guess the first part of our honeymoon was a mini-bender too, didn't do so much with the morning drinking but was pretty sloshed by late afternoon most of those days, and I was close to 30 then.

I have occasionally gotten tore up at a party every now and then as I've aged, but yeah, one long night of boozing is usually enough for me these days.

This took me 5 minutes. Reminded me of Black Rock, a restaurant here in Detroit. Your steak is cooked at your table on this ultra hot black rock. Apparently they keep the rocks heated. You throw your steak on it and it immediately sizzles up. I pre heated my skillet and got a similar result. Pretty cool.

I made ribeyes in a cast iron last night as well. I've been using my cast iron skillet almost every night the last couple months.
