Time to bitch about the semis again

There is no reason for the semis to be played on NYE, especially when it’s likely that UGA-OSU will last until after midnight

It ties up the entire night, and if UGA were to lose, it would ruin what should be one of the happier nights of the year.

I’m sure I’ll either host a party or go to one of my buddy’s houses for a party, but I just wanna get hammered and snort a line from here to California, not worry about a very important football game. It kills ratings too since it’s a night where most of the country is out doing something other than watching football

Don't worry. Ohio State is going to do their best to make sure it's worry free for you much earlier than that

Except for this, the "powers that be" really don't care about any other complaint you and any of the rest of us have with their schedule except this one. Ratings/money is the ONLY thing that matters anymore and gets their attention. That's been the case for a long time now and is the ONLY reason the playoffs are expanding more quickly than thought.

Or better yet....pick all the teams from north Carolina to root for. That way at least one is sure to be decent enough and you can still do fun things on nye.

But I still say the way the Pac determines who goes to the CCG is stupid

Oregon, Utah and Washington all had the same conference record. Oregon had a head to head win over Utah, Washington had a head to head win over Oregon, so they send the only team of the three with no wins against the other two teams in question

It’s damn near impossible to do that and stay in the dark on the game. Somebody is gonna spoil it for you, plus a recorded game isn’t the same as watching it live
