while i agree people put way too much stock into a spring game.. this quote from Nick Saban makes me think there really is an issue with the QBs.. especially Milroe

Probably based on practice. But Blake Sims literally couldn’t complete a forward pass in the spring game and broke all of Alabamas passing records that season. I’m confident Milroe or Simpson will be a top 3 SEC QB this season and top 10-15 Nationally. Sabans QBs always are

AD Mitchel was a much better WR that Burton, and I hated to lose him. But WR for us this year is the last of my concerns. We are loaded with a lot of really good WRs, even if we don't have an elite WR, yet.

I'm sure that had nothing to do with having an NFL-caliber OL and having one of the best college receivers in the last 10 years or so.

Yup, he had 2 of the biggest catches in the CFP games. You are welcome. I'd like to be mad at him, and I don't really get him leaving, but he helped us go B2B so not going to GAF this time.
