Todd Bates to Oklahoma

good hire.. Not sure why Dabo didn't promote him to atleast co-DC or asst-HC.

Clemson is in trouble. I don’t see Dabo being able to pivot fast enough to compete in the new environment of CFB. I’d advise him to start the retirement process and salvage his legacy.

oh man.. what a HUUUUGGGEEEE hire this would be too

If this dude can equal or surpass Thibs, I'll be happy.

Jay has some really cool cone drill clips.. and he always has energy.. he should be good as long as Stoops coaches the DBs for him

If thiefery is making fun of it I’m in favor of it.

Bates is a good hire. Hiring a guy that Saban is processing, has always ended poorly

think he is another one and done?

Couple this with:
- The whole "we are family" schtick doesn't work in today's CFB ... it's billion dollar business, have to treat it as such.
- You can't ignore the Transfer Portal, but will Dabo change on that?
- You have to process players who are "family" ... otherwise you can't make the 85 scholly limit work.
- Everyone has a lazy river and putting green, or the like.

But for being in the ACC, I truly believe they are in trouble. Let's see if he pivots.

Is he any good?
