Well well well.. it's been almost 600 days since the 2019 YouSuck PickEms officially wrapped up and guess what
For those of you who have never played, let me lay out the general format for you before I get into specifics so you can stop reading if you'd like.
Every week (starting with Week 1, not 0) we pick 3 teams we think will lose by the most every week. The most points lost by is the winner of the week. Points are accumulated all season long and a winner is crowned at the end of the regular season. Bowl season is a separate entity and just for fun.
The official rules.
1. You must pick 3 games each week. 1 game HAS to be a P5 vs P5. One game must be a G5 vs. G5. The third game can be any other game. That means the ANY can be a P5-P5, G5-G5, or a P5-G5.
2. You CANNOT pick a FCS school to lose. However, you may use an FCS school in the ANY category if you think they'll blow a team out. So no taking Mercer in week 2, sorry Bama fans.
3. You get 1 point for every point that the team loses by. 35 point loss=35 points.
4. You get -10 points for picking a team to lose, that actually ends up winning.
5. Not making picks results in a week of -30, -10 for each game that you did not pick.
6. Picks must be submitted to me via Direct Message before kickoff of the game. If you miss the first round of kickoffs, you can still pick from the later games as long as you can get a P5-P5, G5-G5, and Any.
7. Picks must be submitted in the proper format. I'll be working this alone this year, making me do extra work is just being a jackass. Intentionally or not. *correct format will be submitted below*
8. You cannot pick a team to lose more than twice. New Mexico State can only be picked twice, not all 12 weeks.
9. Regarding rule number 8, you can pick a team to win as much as you want as long as they are not playing an FCS school. Good news Bama fans, you can pick Bama's opponent to suck 11 out of 12 weeks.
10. For the sake of arguments here is how Independents will be counted: Army, Liberty, New Mexico State, UCONN and UMass are G5. Notre Dame and BYU are P5
FORMAT TO SUBMIT PICKS
P5-P5: Team 1 vs Team 2- Team 1 loses
G5-G5: Team 1 vs. Team 2- Team 2 loses
Any: Team 1 vs. Team 2- Team 2 loses
Just replace Team 1 and Team 2 with actual teams and we're set.
I'm not sure who's migrated over so I normally tag people who have played before and have someone to pin it to the top of the page. I haven't been as active recently but with CFB back, I'll be back a lot more. Tag people who might want to play, tag someone who can pin it. Comment below if you want to participate this season.
Let's do this! And just as a reminder, you all suck.
