Brewers are choking too is the bad thing. Up 2-0 on the Marins at home and lose.
 
SD loses two of 3 to LAD as expected to tighten things up. PHL must sweep 4 games vs .348 WSH to stay in it since their final 3 games are in .650 HOU.
 
The new playoff format with the byes might hurt the Phillies though. Normally the Astros would be resting their starters for the final series, but now that there will be a longer layoff, they might keep the starters in to avoid rust

I was thinking the same. That’s why Phils must sweep the slacker Nats.

Coming down to 1-2 games. I can count at least 10 games that the Crew threw away.

Baseball is funny.
 
I’m glade they got ride of the one game playoff for the wild card. I was never a fan of that
 
but living in New York it is a huge baseball weekend. We got judge coming home trying to set the home run record. And we got the Mets having a huge series against the Braves

The Brewers lost 3 of 4 to the Marlins to pretty well end their season

They’re gonna have to sweep the Dbacks while the Astros sweep the Phillies to get in
