Speaking of which, why didn't Jackson State play in the FCS playoffs? I know they play the SWAC championship during it, but never understood why.

I don’t think the winner of that conference plays in the playoffs anymore.

They have the Celebration Bowl for their league champs against the MEAC Champs.

Just seems like he's weeding our the cowards. You want your players to hear that and say "fuck you, they're not taking my spot" . The players who say "hey, that's not fair" are the ones he wants hitting the portal.
 
I watched that video and I couldn't quite place where I'd seen something like that before. A movie? In the business world? Then it hit me: that was the exact same kind of attitude Howard Schnellenberger had when he took the head coaching job at OU in 1995. That guy lasted one season and was fired. He told the players at the first team meeting they were "out of shape, unorganized and unmotivated". He made fun of the wishbone during interviews, he shit talked Barry Switzer and Bud Wilkinson, he drank like a fish, he had brutal team meetings where he embarrassed people, he had an air of superiority around the donors/fans and............he went 5-5-1. Yeah, Prime Time, your alligator mouth had better back everything up or your hummingbird ass will be history.

Deion is getting massive amounts of calls from 4 and 5 star recruits and portal players right now.

Lol and it’s the Pac 12. Not gonna be hard to compete. He wins 8 or 9 games next year that is pretty solid. The man got the #1 recruit in the country last year to go to Jackson St.

Yeah he was all about himself coaching high school ball for 4 years in Dallas. It was all about the money.

He was all about the money at Jackson St making $300,000 per year and giving half back for football renovations in 2022?
