Jackson State is an FCS or DIAA school. saying they woulndt play the best division 2 teams is like saying UGA wouldnt play 12-0 Holy Cross or 12-0 Sacramento State.
FCS/ DIAA is NOT the same as Division 2

That’s only the part the press knows about. I was doing contract work for the Texas Education Agency after I retired and during that cluster fuck. Got pulled off my assignment at the time (along with three others) to help investigate some of that crap.

Not to mention Boulder is a mile high (5318'). If he gets CU competitive that altitude will be tough for away teams. Especially come November.
Could bode well for some classic OD meltdowns.

Primetime only has 1 speed. He said those players are lucky to be here and Jackson St facilities were a dump compared to Boulder. He’s weeding out the weak ones which could be 90% of them.

What exactly would you want him to say to these kids? When you are 1-11 -- no matter who you are, you are going to be severely lacking in talent. In CFB today -- the brutal truth is, if a new coach comes to a school, they can't bring whoever they'd like with them. That's how USC went from average to 1 game from the CFP and a matchup with Georgia. Is that Lincoln Riley not wanting to coach players up...........or is it the state of CFB where you can expedite rebuilds thru the portal, as kids no longer have to sit out a year and can transfer without penalty?
I think he was honest with the kids. That's what those kids need, they don't need someone to blow sunshine up their ass.
 
I don’t think Colorado was really what he wanted. Maybe he was waiting for FSU to fall again this year but Think about it… he’s in Mississippi, played at FSU and has plenty of ties to Atlanta. Auburn was the place and they were sceert. Too much personality and he’s black? No idea but what better candidate than Deion right now to recruit Alabama Florida and Georgia.


Auburn screwed up big time here. And Deion gonna show them. That’s why he took this job that has had 1 winning season in 17 years..?

The thread title was obviously sarcasm since Colorado and Nebraska are both starting from scratch on complete rebuilds.

The Colorado AD is just trying to get Buff fans butts back in the seats for their first home game.
