There are two types of people. People who like/don’t like stuff and don’t need anybody to justify those feelings - and people who aren’t happy liking/hating something on their own. They aren’t satisfied unless they can bring you up/down with them, too. Can’t just like/hate something without making a big scene, pointing to their source of joy/suffering, and beg everyone else to like/hate that thing with them.

Politics, Deion, down hill skiing - the subject matter isn’t important. I simply ignore them.

I noticed that about Deion too. I personally don't have to worry if I'm on the right path to salvation because God hates all the same people I do.

Nobody connects with these players like Deion. Not even Harbaugh, much as I hate to say it. Some schools are absolutely screwed if Deion comes calling. Eventually he will pretty much be able to go and get almost anyone he wants. Wait until he starts snagging starters from big schools through the transfer portal.

James Garner grew up in Norman, Oklahoma across the street from one of my best friends and was an OU grad. I got to spend some extended time with him and he was exactly what you would expect. Nicest guy in the world. I've had occasion to meet a lot of actors because we used to fund stuff in movies and commercials and many of them are OK people. I'd put James Garner and Cliff Robertson at the top of the list of who you would want to spend an afternoon with in your living room watching football games. The funniest guy was Don Rickles. The guy would make fun of my Oklahoma accent and do hillbilly shit then give me that big grin. Lots of nice people in Hollywood but just don't talk politics; that will make you wonder WTF.
