A similar but not the same example I would provide would be Joey Mcguire at Texas Tech. Dude ain’t coaching Xs and Os, he’s recruiting, 23rd class in the country this year, managed 8 wins his first season, got boosters to give 200 mil to facilities, created huge buzz in the fanbase after a decade of pain and self loathing.

They won one game all of last year so every win probably does feel like a Super Bowl to be fair. If they go bowling they won't know how to handle it.

Sanders was always trailer trash. He just happened to be able to play. He still talks like he lives in a double wide drinking Two Buck Chuck out of a paper bag.
 
Colorado has sold its soul for a few minutes in the limelight. That program is going to have to fold in a couple of years when he leaves.
