tOfficial "Deion Sanders to Colorado" Thread

As I was watching a guy on youtube before the season started, he remarked how "small" the offensive line is, how Coach Prime had never coached at this level, how he jumped from HBCU to P5 with no stops in between, etc. The one that made me do a double take was the concerns for the offensive line. No matter how good this QB was going to be, he still has to be protected. I figured the 3-4 wins observation sounded about right. Now, on the flip side of all this, I am tired of the media having a probe so far up his ass, they can tell if he ate corn pops or corn flakes for breakfast. Colorado beats TCU, and the media was all over Prime. Colorado beats Nebraska, and the media was really all over him. I feel the media will "talk" to him less and less when the losses start occurring. The feel good story of the season will be gone.

This is the sort of hapless opponent that the Deoin mania is built upon. Wait til they visit Autzen and then USC rolls into Boulder. We'll re-evaluate this team then.
They’ll put up 100 on USC. USC might score 105, but it’s not gonna be a blowout

Big Noon Saturday

week 1 - Colorado TCU
week 2 - Colorado Nebby
Week 3...guess where?

suck my dick GIF

Oregon and USC are going to have a gameplan and head coaches capable of adjusting.
What about Lincoln Riley’s track record makes you think he’s capable of making a defensive game plan and defensive adjustments?

Oregon might be too physical for Colorado, and while I’d pick USC to win, I think it’ll be a shootout

What is this prediction based on?

You know what I mean. Based upon what do you predict that Colorado has a real chance at beating USC? The TCU game or the Nebraska game? Or both?
The last two games against real opponents for USC showed them get boat races by Utah and beat by Tulane.

I think they’re gonna be able to score a bunch of points on USC’s defense, I have no faith in their defense slowing down USC, and I’d pick USC to win, but a USC turnover or two and Colorado could steal it. I don’t see the game being a blowout either way

To be fair I haven’t watched a Colorado game in years but I’ve watched the last two and honestly they were some of the best games.

I’ll tune in as I’m invested now and want to witness the miracle or the train wreck.

I'm curious to see how USC's defense will do against that offense.

So far, the defense has looked better than last year. Last year, even the bad teams were able to move the ball against them, but they were forcing turnovers at a ridiculous rate, which hid the problem for awhile.

This year, they are actually getting 3 and outs, pressuring the QB, etc.

Kid we got from Georgia, Bear Alexander, has been a beast so far.

I’m just glad they get another tuneup, then Oregon and then USC. It’s gonna be interesting!!!

Colorado is entirely winning because of Sanders at QB. Reminds me a bit of when we had Denard and we were winning games just because of his ability to make things happen during chaos.

Could say the same for Colorado. How will their D do against USC's offense

I think Colorado's defense is pretty meh overall, the secondary is ok but it's mostly just because of Hunter. The front 7 is not very good.

Even if USC's defense gives some, Colorado's will give more.

So Colorado is your new Cincy?

Yeah, Sanders is my biggest concern. USC has struggled with mobile QB's for years. Hopefully, facing Caleb Williams in practice every day will help them be better prepared.

They have a bye this week, so they get an extra week to prepare for him.

Since i can't get the tweet to show up, I found this on twitter:

This morning Colorado State HC Jay Norvell got up, made himself a cup of coffee, and started his day just like any other.

What he doesn’t realize is he messed up big time. The way he got up and poured his coffee has disrespected the Prime family.

This is now personal.
