tOfficial “Fuck your rival” thread

A 10-2 record with a loss to a 6-5 michigan team at home is inexcusable with this team, honestly. Top defense in the nation, but unlike last year, we have an elite scoring offense (we were somewhere in the 40s last year). I understand anything can happen in a rivalry game, but if they struggle today it's going to make that seat unbearably hot.

I just can't see this offense doing much of anything against OSU's D. Michigan hasn't bothered to test anybody with a deep ball this year, and it's hard to see that changing today. I think that's one of the biggest things that's held Michigan's offense back (aside from OL and QB play), just because it's allowed teams to load up the box and bottle up Michigan's ground game. I don't think you need to hit every deep pass, but just doing it often enough to get teams to think about that would be a huge boon for the playcalling. It's been baffling, and I can't wait to see Kirk gone. It's going to take a 2017 kinda gameplan, though at least Warren can complete passes unlike O'Korn.

I do think Michigan DL can take advantage of OSU's makeshift OL. Do that, they might be able to bottle up the OSU ground game (at least until the D gets worn out) and get Howard under duress. I could even see it being a tale of two halves much like the Oregon game, get obliterated in the first half but make huge adjustments and settle down. Regardless, what the defense does likely won't be enough given the Michigan offense.

I just need one fucking good game out of Milroe today. Rebound game, they shouldn't even be on the same field with us.
