Seats/views were awesome. Food was reasonably priced even for the novelty shit like a helmet full of churros and ice cream. Staff was all extremely polite. We left after the 7th, so it took zero minutes to get out.

The one qualm I had was buying a hat. Since I legit need a size 8 hat, there were none in like 5 of the gifts shops for all the gangstas who just wear that shit oversized like a tard. Had to settle for one of the ASG editions as it was the only one I could find.

There was a period of time when the McCourts owned the team that Dodger Stadium got really bad. I used to take my kids to a few games every year and go to a few either by myself or with friends and it got bad enough that I quit going at all.

The McCourts never did any of the little tweaks and minor upgrades that teams do to their stadiums in the off-season, the parking lot got bad because about 1/3 of the lights didn't work and they cut back on staff, including security. They let it go to shit because they had to cut costs to try to hang on to a team they couldn't afford and that they were treating like an ATM.

When the current group bought them, they made a lot of improvements throughout the stadium, got staffing back up to a proper level and let idiots know they aren't welcome. There are still occasional incidents like at any ballpark. But yeah, during the McCourts ownership, it was the Wild Wild West.

I think Dodger Stadium looks GREAT on TV, especially for us in the Eastern and / or Central Time Zones on crappy weather days. However, when I went to my one and only game in 2000, I was a little disenchanted. Not my favorite park. I still love watching a game from Dodger Stadium on TV though! It's a great optical illusion.

I think that's true of any stadium. Even during the McCourt era, Dodger Stadium still looked good on tv.

I remember going to a couple of Chargers games at The Murph in the last few seasons before they moved.

I had heard stories that it had become a shit hole, but didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I went to a game because it looked fine on tv.
 
I’m never partying with my brother’s friends again.

Go to one of his buddy’s birthday party just down the road from my parents house.

Have a few drinks with my dad, get my bottle and walk through the woods to the party.

I’m there for like 10 minutes and not even buzzed when like 15 cops start walking up their long ass steep driveway(the driveway is why I walked through the woods) asking about some guy I’ve never heard of.

I was outside, apparently that guy was inside the house, and when the homeowner got the guy outside, he decided to fight with the cops, was hoping I’d get to see a good tazing, but one cop manhandled that scrawny fucker.

Apparently the guy pulled a gun on a pregnant woman.

Why the fuck is somebody like that even at a party? That’s just asking for something bad to go down.

After that, me and my gf just walked back to my parents house and tied a good one on and listened to music on the back deck, and my mama cooked us biscuits and gravy this morning
 
........and all I did was go to the casino poker room and play no-limit hold'em. They serve no 'shine, tho. Other firewater, but no 'shine.
