I like it because I get a ton of emails, many of which I am just one of many people receiving it. I like getting tagged if there is something specific I need to look at or do.

Yep.

IT/PM people are primarily the people who use it, so it helps me sort out the important shit that is timely amongst the people on my team who are crying that the world is on fire when there is a typo somewhere in a document.
