Pretty disappointed with the "Tropical Storm".

No lightning, no thunder...very little wind.

A lot of rain...but we usually get at least a couple of storms every winter with more rain.

That's all right... The "BIG ONE" (rock & roller" type) is probably on the way! Maybe that'll be MORE exciting... :headbanger:

I was walking around over the weekend around parks and trails and I see the dry ground just cracking and dusty...

Harold is in the Gulf and we got all excited... littel bastard is gonna hit the border and not give us a drop.

Why do people sign off letters and emails with "best?" What does that even MEAN?

Here's a great example:
"To whom it may concern, I, Suzie Rahtencrach, observed Ameer Allahookah kicking one of the children in preschool 9 last week.
Best,
Suzie"

Mix it up once in a while, I say. People lack creativity. Lots of ways to close a letter that are more appropriate to the subject matter, like:

concerned,
breathlessly,
up yours,
giddily,
with nausea,
anxiously,
with WAP,

Although I don't recommend your father in law try that last one

Dearest Hu,

Thank you for your suggestions.
