So I have this weekly standing meeting for the tech assistants/chiefs of staff. It used to be right after their boss’s staff meeting with the big boss but I didn’t like it there so I moved it to a day later. I have this one chick bitching because it interferes with her boss’s staff meetings so she keeps asking me to move it to a different day, Nevermind that it’s fine for everyone else (15+ people). So I told her I’d look into moving it. I think I’ve decided on Wednesday afternoons instead of Wednesday mornings…to make her happy.

Oh, what’s that, you little crybaby? You work part time and you’re off in the afternoons? Bummer.

In the ultra rare event that I pick up the goddamn phone when those bastards call, I don’t say anything. I’m convinced AI bots are trying to get samples of my voice to do hoodrat things with it later.

Got two calls from Guangzhou China on Monday. Didn't answer and blocked them. I guess they wanted to wish me Happy Juneteenth.
 
I don't care how bad the Pirates are, they are going to be on the entire time I'm in some pretentious event called "Keynote Pannel (sic)" organized by Google tech bros who can't even spell.

Like any large US city, there are places that are relatively safe, beautiful, culturally satisfying and family friendly, and then there are places where you just do not venture into.
