LOL...my former boss emails me about 5-10 times a week trying to pump me for information. I've been ignoring his emails for a while now, so he's trying to find things out by going through a consultant we used to use. She reached out to me today asking a bunch of questions under the guise of offering more services.

So now I have to respond to her with a terse, "Hi, you, thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, those topics are in-house decisions upon which I am not permitted to comment with outside individuals. At this time, we are not in need of any consulting services, but we will certainly keep you in mind for future projects if needed. Thanks for your interest in Hu's Company, buh-bye!"

Ahh, but she already knows me from prior consulting work. If she were a cold caller, I would just block her email like I do for all the others. She and I always got along well and I don't want to completely poison that relationship. This way, it'll be clear to her that I know why she's reaching out, and she'll pass the message along for me that ex-bosszilla can stop fishing
 
I figure it's a pretty safe bet I didn't miss anything of any great import,
But if I missed anything particularly funny, I hope one of you will bring me up to speed.
