We do it. I report out my employees active time on the computer and the time they spend in our origination systems.

I used to set up and run a lot of presentations and internal online courses on my machine and filled my calendar with stuff as a cover.

Our software screenshots their primary screen, so if I have concerns I can see exactly what they have on their screen while they are on the clock. I don’t typically look unless there are other red flags.

Big Brother is watching. I have fired people based on this stuff (people not online during time they were clocked in). Don’t steal from the company. Get your work done. Hit your productivity targets and respond to emails and you won’t end up on the radar.
