It was…fine. I don’t have a point of reference so I don’t know if it came out the way it’s supposed to. I feel like it was a broken sauce, but maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be? They all raved about it so I was polite (AF, duh) but I think it could be improved.

It is definitely not supposed to be a broken sauce.
It should be velvety smooth, and one should be able to taste both the sharpness of the cheese and the hint of the booze that was used (just beer, but the flavor should register).
