I always avoided potlucks at work because of :

a. Food not properly maintained at an appropriate temperature while being served.

b. Unknown sanitation habits of the people providing the food.

I once saw a main entree provider leave a bathroom stall and not wash his hands. If he did that at work with other people in the restroom, what must he not do at home? Put me off potlucks forever.

Open Office by Apache is a free office suite.

Openoffice.org

Its spreadsheet has columns ranging from A thru AMJ, and rows from 1 thru 1048576.

That means this:

"In an OpenOffice spreadsheet, columns are labeled alphabetically, starting from A to Z, and then continuing with AA, AB, AC, and so on. The column notation you provided, AMJ, corresponds to the 1024th column. Each column has 1048576 rows.
To find the total number of cells in the spreadsheet, you can multiply the number of columns by the number of rows:
Total cells=Number of columns×Number of rowsTotal cells=Number of columns×Number of rows
Total cells=1024×1048576Total cells=1024×1048576
Total cells=1073741824Total cells=1073741824
Therefore, there are 1,073,741,824 cells in this OpenOffice spreadsheet."

The default setup is 3 sheets, so when you open a spreadsheet, you have 3 * 1,073,741,824 cells or 3,221,225,472 cells at your disposal.
Almost enough for @moxie's recipes.

It's 7:30 right now.

Or somewhat close to that.

They took a poll at my office on whether we wanted a potluck holiday party, or a catered one.

We overwhelmingly chose the catering option.
