I'm beat to shit. Weekend of camping, floating, fishing.

I rowed as much as I've ever rowed in a day, on Saturday. Big, wide flat river, with a nasty headwind the whole way. First half of the float(4 hours) was constant rowing, or the wind would take you up river.

Took my kids on their first "legit" rapids. Class 3, that would be class 4 if they went for a longer stretch.


They were beaming for hours after.

Caught a bunch of nice fish, but I'm beat up. I slipped at the fucking takeout, and fell hand-heavy on some brush/bush, whatever, and put a decent hole in my thumb palm. It's bruised af, with a solid pencil-sized hole.
