I think that is the main reason. Looking online it seems like battery drain is a common issue. Even still without driving it much I am suspicious of a battery biting the dust after 4 months. It took over 12 hours on a charger just to get it to turn the car on.Mine almost died because I hadn't driven anywhere in weeks.
anything good to check in on? anyone melting down? fighting?

Is it a Forester? My stupid Subaru’s battery is dead after four months. I guess the good news is that it has a 3 year warranty.

Yep.Is it a Forester?
We have a 2015 Forester. Haven't had any battery issues yet. I'm not much for car mechanics, but, I do have peoples cars die at the landfill where I work and most of the time, scrubbing the cables is enough to get a consistent charge and get the car going again. I know that seems like a captain obvious thing, but so many people miss that one.Yep.
