Because I've never been in a hurricane. And I've heard the 'nader sirens on youtube so fuck that shet. Little shaky shaky here once in awhile is NBD. Thankfully, I've not been personally affected by fire season (*knocks on wood*), so other than that, and the horrific cost of living, things are pretty peachy here.
what about the shit in the streets and the homeless camps?

Speaking of next... are we shutting these down at 10k still? I need a ruling.

Wtf?! Where is that fucking bird already?! It’s not funny anymore!
v58 will get locked before v57

:heh:

Shit you are right beside one of the most dangerous fault lines in the world. lol

If you stay about 75 - 100 miles inland from the coast then you are safe from most of the bad wind in a hurricane. Assuming you don't have some big ass tree fall through your shit on your head. We took an almost head on hit from a Cat 5 and we really only got about Cat 1 force sustained winds here. Trees are the major problem with them when you are inland. If you drop a foot of rain in just a few hours then it doesn't take extremely strong winds to bring them down.....especially pecan trees.

Dang... when's the last time the Dodgers lost?

:dhd:

Did I just jinx them?

There's two mature pecan trees in my parents' yard. They never get a single nut because the squirrels get them all, the little furry bastards.

I just walked outside a minute ago and they are eating mine right now.

Ugh. I'm so sick of those little bitches! Went outside this morning and one of those peckers was digging around in my lavender plant and fucking with the succulents I'm trying to grow from clippings. I should hide a super prickly cactus among the plants
