Gonna be like dominoes soon, every state is going to rush to legalize...and many of them will not see the huge tax benefits they're expecting
They need to federally legalize it (seeing as how no one seems to give a shit anyways) and require each state's population to vote on which direction to go.

You can have a

A.) Not legal at all.

B.) Medically legal and recreationally illegal

C.) Medically legal and recreationally decriminalized

D.) Medically and recreationally legal

Then let the states hash out the details on what further "rules" they want in place.

It seems like that's what's already happening, with the exception of it being legalized federally.
I'd think eventually so many states will have legalized it some extent, the Federal government almost has to follow.

She's depriving me of sleeps! But the last two nights have been much better.
My pups would constantly wake me during the night when she was a li'l puppy.
Once she'd grown a bit, it was the craziest thing ... she'd insist on being on the bed and under the covers when I went to sleep (the under the covers thing killed me ... a fuckin' pit bull who has to be under the covers with her head on a pillow ), but she'd jump off at some point during the night. She would not get back on the bed. She'd wait at the foot of it, as though she didn't want to wake me back up by jumping on the bed. The second I'd open my eyes, she'd pounce.

Somehow, the fuckin' cat picked up on that. She does the same thing, even though my sweet pups has been gone for years.

My bed is a double pillowtop mattress and is fairly high off the ground. This 4" tall speck is towered by it. I piled a bunch of pillows and a blanket for her to see if she'd use it as a ramp to climb up. And she did! So friggin' cute!

Until she did it to piss on my bed. Washed the blanket and then she did it again the next day. So in a fit, I tore the whole thing down and tossed the blankets & pillows aside, yanked the bedding off again and rewashed. She wails her head off at night in the crate so at one of the 3am wakings, i put her back in and left the door open so she could go fuck around (she really likes the spot under my desk). A few minutes later, I hear whining & scratching... she figured out how to climb the mountain of throw pillows on the side of the bed and crawled into bed with me.

How could I NOT let her stay?? :D

Shit....it may be in some places, but not others. Alabama doesn't have a citizen's initiative process like other places so your citizens don't get the chance to vote on shit like that.

So I finally enrolled in my company's quick sale booshit. Never understood it, but my co-workers said I was dumb for not doing it. So I get the notification the other day that it's in process and I literally do not know if I'm going to get 80¢ or $8k because they just give the number of shares and the price they sold it at. No info on if I get the difference or just the gain, nothing! Color me pleasantly surprised that it was the $8k. Yippee!

No idea the goddamn tax implications, but I'm patting myself on the head for the time being. 😟

It would be nice if for nothing else you don't have over-zealous cops at state lines. Like if you're leaving Colorado going into kansas the state PD at least used to look for any reason to pull you over and see what they can find because that state is full of prudes. I'm shocked that when I left Chicago after it was legal there and drove into Indiana that I didn't see any cops.
