Well we'll just say I would be taking pictures of people's poosay hearts like @beardown07 and @Win TWINS!!! in a surgical setting.

Major boost in monies but a loss to the bennies. I actually get really good benefits where I am now. It's also a lot more aggravating going from a clinical setting to a hospital w/call setting....butt fuck it. Hopefully the $$$ will overcome the aggravation.

Hope that works out for you, assuming you get the job. I went on stress leave back in July/August. They ended up offering me more money to keep me around after that because they knew I was going to bolt if I at least didn't get something. I'll likely bolt here in the spring when the place becomes predictably out of control.

Precimiate it. I may or may not get it, realistically. I have a couple of people in the dept that I went to skool with putting in a good word, but other applicants have more relevant experience so that could go either way. I won't be heartbroken or anything if I don't get it, but the extra monies are worth the shot. I hope you find something less stressful.....I think i'm going in the other direction with that which I don't like....but that's necessary in this field to make a more comfortable living. Money isn't everything but my employers have gotten to be a fucking joke over the years, and it's time to test the waters elsewhere.
