My cat loves people and shits outside. Every other one I've ever owned did the same.
 
I can't decide if one of my wife's cats is smart or not. She has one of those cat toys with the fake mouse on a string that she uses to play with the cats. Baba Yaga (Russian for Boogeyman) figured out that it's just a toy, so he won't play with it anymore. The last time she played with it with him, he suddenly stopped, and you could see him look at the mouse, then the string, then he followed the string to the stick and the stick to her hand. Stopped playing with it and hasn't played with it since.

I figured it had to be a coincidence and he was just bored with it. So, I got a laser pointer. I used it to play with him and he was going crazy playing with it for maybe 2-3 minutes. Then the same thing, he stops looks at the laser pointer in my hand and now won't play with that either.

He just looks at you like "Bech, I ain't here for your entertainment."

Is he smart for figuring it out? Or a dumbass because now he has nothing to play with? lol
