It's a little hotter than my usual comfort level

I'm BBQ'n in the rain
Just BBQ'n in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I'm happy again.
I'm laughing at clouds.
So dark up above,
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for ribs...

This stuff is HOT.

got scotch bonnets in it, besides horse radish

I'm usually a "the hotter, the better" person.
There have been a couple of times I've said, "ok, this is too much even for me," but really, it's only been a couple of times (and both times I can recall were Thai food).

I grew up eating bland UK-inspired food. I never got into hot stuff until I was in my late 20's and I'm still a lightweight

I've loved hot and spicy food since I was a kid.
My mother had a major aversion to it, and my brother wasn't particularly fond of it, but my father really liked it (and, being the asshole he was, never adjusted the heat level when he cooked, even knowing that meant his wife and son either wouldn't eat it, or try to and be miserable), and he seemed to get such a kick out of the fact I loved it, I probably ate things much hotter than I would have, otherwise.
