Srsly? I've heard so many good things about how they crisp things up without drying them out. I definitely don't NEED one, but they seem kinda cool.

My mother-in-law gave my wife and I one that she had when she decided to replace with some fancy Emeril one.

I've only used it once so far. I made fresh cut fries. They turned out good. I used about a tablespoon of peanut oil to coat them a little. As far as taste, etc. really couldn't tell that they weren't deep fried. From what I've heard, that's the case with most things.
