The fucks who send me this voting activist and pro- or anti-Trump texts are still the worst. No idea how they got my number and it's like whack-a-mole blocking them because it's a different number every time.

I think I got pranked.
political spam isnt illegal unfortunately.....believe me ive told a few of those assholes to fuck off

Well...surgery went well. Kid is feeling much better now that we're home.

Gonna be a handful here the next few days, but I feel like a massive weight has been lifted.

Appreciate all the kind words en sech.

do you envision a long recovery?

I used to get calls from like New Mexico of robo calls that are very obviously just spliced up words about how I have an outstanding warrant for my arrest and need to pay to avoid it.

Think @huskers1217 mentioned getting something like that too
I had some friends that got a call like that once. The person knew the name of the wife, and said "your husband (gave his name) and daughter (gave her name) have been in an accident with my cousin, and he got mad, now he's pulled a gun on them and the only way he'll let them go is if you paypal him some money to fix his car!"

Well, she kinda panicked, because the guy calling had all their names right. But eventually logic kicked in and she realized it was a fake.

Sounds about right.

The dumbest I've heard was a co-worker got one saying his wife was in jail and he needed to wire bail money...except she was sitting right next to him at home. Dude just turned and asked her "are you in jail?" No? Okay cool."

Glad she's okay from the surgery.

But she still has to put up with you.

No surgery or treatment for that.

Yep, the Mother-in-law had that one pulled on her. But she at least called her son to ask him if he was in jail or not before she paid out anything. For her, that was out of character, because she will generally give anybody anything they ask for over the phone
